The Ballochmyle Inn, High Street

Back Causeway (now Castle Street) which used to be the main entrance to the Cross. The house on the extreme left was briefly occupied by Robert Burns and Jean Armour in 1788

 

Taken from the bank corner and looking towards the Cross coming in from the South this really old photo shows where the Kilmarnock Supporters Club now stands

Looking down the Cowgate towards the Parish Church which now stands on the site of St Michael's church which was one of the earliest known building in Mauchline. The old church was demolished 1827 and the new church opened on 2nd August 1829
