John McAtee is a man from Ayrshire who loves his home county and the very countryside that Burns himself walked His rich voice is rich enough to match the beauty and sensitivity of the Burns repertoire.Through Johns voice you will enjoy the songs and, transported by Burns woud, you will again view the hills, the meadows and the Burns of Ayrshire that enrich the county as they did yaers ago.

John was born in Catrine but the journey through life that we all make has given him the insight into the joys, the sadness and the triumph of the works of Burns wich is not always found in contemporary recordings

John has been traveling the towns and villages of Ayrshire for many a year and is a regular and firm favorite at Burns suppers with his songs.
